The European Norm is the common norm reference in European countries which are member of the CEN (European Committee for Standardization).
It prevails over a national norm, which is then discontinued and replaced. British Standards are responsible to comply with the European norm, either by the production of an identical text or by an agreement. They also are responsible to take off national norms if they are not-compliant.

The NF certification is an official quality certification for France, which is delivered by the French Organisation for Standardisation (AFNOR), which demonstrated that our products conform to French standards.
Its operation shall be entrusted to AFNOR Certification (subsidiary of AFNOR). The NF label is not a commercial label, but a collective mark. It provides irrefutable proof that a product meets the safety features and / or quality specified in the relevant certification.

European Norm KEYMARK
The Keymark is a voluntary European certification mark, which proves the compliance with European norms for products that are targeted to European markets.
It needs to be applied to national certification mark delivered by an organization recognised by the European Committee for Standardization.
